In 1864, Alumni Ernesto and Nemesio Guilló returned home to Havana, Cuba bringing the sport of baseball with them. They formed the Habana Baseball Club, which later became the Cuban National Baseball Team. They are recognized as the fathers of Cuban Baseball.
